Chief Minister Mentorship Programme Winter Coaching Successfully Implemented in Mangan District

Mangan, Feb 03: Under the aegis of the Chief Minister Mentorship Programme, Winter Coaching Classes were successfully conducted across all Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools in Mangan District with the objective of providing academic support and guidance to students during the winter vacation.

The initiative was designed to enhance subject knowledge, strengthen fundamental concepts, and improve overall academic performance through structured coaching sessions. The programme received enthusiastic support from Panchayats, School Management Committees (SMCs), and local communities, with residential facilities arranged at most centres to ensure smooth implementation.

Classes were held as per the prescribed timetable, covering key subjects including Mathematics, English, Science, and Social Science. Experienced subject teachers guided students through interactive teaching methods, regular practice sessions, and systematic doubt-clearing. Sample question papers based on the CBSE examination pattern were prepared by the Katalytic Charter Education Foundation, and weekly tests were conducted to familiarize students with board examination formats.

Special focus was given to students requiring additional academic assistance, ensuring inclusive learning for all. Students actively participated in the coaching sessions and showed a positive response towards the programme. The mentorship initiative has significantly helped motivate learners, improve study habits, build confidence, and promote discipline, regular attendance, and effective time management.
