Gangtok, November 13: Lieutenant General Man Raj Singh Mann, SM** General Officer Commanding, 33 Corps, called on Chief Minister Me Prem Singh Tamang at Mintokgang today.
During the courtesy meeting, the Chief Minister and the GOC discussed matters of mutual interest pertaining to the security, development, and welfare of the border areas of Sikkim. The Chief Minister appreciated the dedication and service of the Indian Army in safeguarding the nation’s frontiers and acknowledged their vital role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
Lieutenant General Mann conveyed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for the continued support and cooperation extended by the State Government towards the Army and reaffirmed the commitment of the Indian Army to maintaining harmony and assisting the civilian administration in times of need.
