Mangan, September 24 (IPR): Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang arrived in Mangan a while ago amidst a warm traditional welcome by public representatives and the local community.
The Chief Minister was welcomed at the entry point of Mangan by Minster cum MLA Dzongu, Mr Pintso Namgyal Lepcha, Minister cum MLA Lachen Mangan Mr Samdup Lepcha, along with MLA cum Advisor Mr Thenlay Tshering Bhutia, Zilla Adhakshya Mr Kado Lepcha, Upadakshya Ms Sonam Kipa Bhutia, Chairpersons, APS Mangan, OSDs, other dignitaries, officers of the Mangan district administration and Director and faculty of North Sikkim Academy.
The Chief Minister was accorded a traditional welcome by local community members adorned in traditional attire.
Following the reception, the Chief Minister proceeded towards Mangan Public Ground.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of key infrastructures in Mangan and will attend a public event at Mangan District Zilla Panchayat Bhawan later in the day.
