Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan – Pledge Ceremony Held Across Soreng District

Soreng, October 17 (IPR): As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign), a pledge ceremony was held today at Soreng District Administrative Centre.

The pledge was led by ADC (I) Mr DR Bista, along with SDM (HQ) Mr PK Subba and SDM Ms Sakchum Lepcha.

Mr. Bista emphasized the campaign’s goal of building a drug-free society and highlighted various awareness activities being conducted in schools and institutions under both the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and the State Government's Nasha Mukt Sikkim Abhiyan. He also mentioned the ongoing NCORD meetings, held monthly as part of the initiative.

Similarly all Government Offices, Educational Institutions, and Gram Panchayat Units also witnessed the pledge ceremony across the district.

The campaign aims to raise awareness among government employees, students, and the public about the harmful effects of substance abuse, reaffirming Soreng District’s commitment to a healthier and drug-free community.

Similarly the pledge was undertaken by different officers in their respective offices across the district.
