Kolkata:
Shri Dipen Subba, OSD, Commerce & Industries Department, Government of Sikkim, and General Secretary, SEED Cell, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta Innovation Park (IIM-CIP) at its Kolkata campus. The MoU was signed on behalf of IIM-CIP by Dr. Vivek Kumar Rai, CEO, IIM Calcutta Innovation Park.
Under this collaboration, IIM-CIP will serve as the Knowledge and Institutional Partner for Sikkim Rise, a flagship entrepreneurship and startup- Ideathon initiative organized by the Commerce & Industries Department, Government of Sikkim, in collaboration with SEED Cell.
The partnership aims to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Sikkim through mentorship, innovation support, capacity building, incubation linkages, and expert guidance for aspiring entrepreneurs start-up participating in Sikkim Rise.
