Gangtok, 17 October 2025:
Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Smt. Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang at his official residence today.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister enquired about the Minister’s ongoing tour in Sikkim and the various engagements undertaken as part of her visit. He also highlighted the State Government’s continuous efforts towards ensuring food security and strengthening consumer welfare across the state.
The interaction reflected a shared commitment to advancing the welfare of the people and furthering the spirit of cooperative federalism.
Minister, Urban Development Department and Food & Civil Supplies, Shri Bhoj Raj Rai, Secretary to CM Shri S.D Dhakal and Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies Department, Shri Anil Raj Rai, were also present during the meeting.
