Three Day District Level Orientation Workshop of District Process Lab under AADI KARMA YOGI: Responsive Governance Programme for Block Level Master Trainers begins in Gyalshing District.
Gyalshing, September 10 (IPR):A three-day District Level Orientation of District Process Lab under AADI KARMA YOGI Abhiyan: Responsive Governance Programme for Block Level Master Trainers of Gyalshing District took place today in the Banquet Hall of the Gyalshing District Zilla Panchayat,Kyongsa.
At the formal opening ceremony, District Collector Gyalshing Mr Tenzing D Denzongpa graced as the Chief Guest, along with SDM HQ Gyalshing Mr Pulkit Balhara as the Guest of Honour.
The Master Trainers for the first day were, JD Forest Department Gyalshing Mr Tenzing Norbu Bhutia as State Level Master Trainer, AD Education Mr Rajen Tamang, Welfare Officer and District Nodal Officer Mr Roshan Sharma, ACF(T) Forest Mr Pradeep Subba, AE RDD Ms Kirati Sumnina Rai, Assistant District Planning Coordinator RDD Mr Prakash Subba, District Coordinator WCSC&DWD Mr Sangay Tamang, and Coordinator for the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) and Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK) Programme under the National Health Mission Dr Shivani Tamang, as District Level Master Trainers.
The Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan aligned with the vision of "Viksit Bharat" by 2047, that ensure tribal communities play a pivotal role in India's development. The campaign is aimed to create a group of "change leaders" in the tribal villages. The approach of decentralised leadership model focuses on co-creating development with tribal communities rather than merely extending it.
District Collector Gyalshing Mr Denzongpa highlighted the aspirations of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, GOI, through the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan in the district. He encouraged participants to avail the opportunity and contribute to development of the community. He also summarised the initiative's vision, which efficiently corresponds to 'Viksit Bharat'.
DC Gyalshing urged attendees to take the training seriously and apply what they learn at the block and village levels for effective implementation. He emphasized the importance of education, experience, and exposure for the successful integration of the abhiyan. He called for teamwork in Gyalshing to achieve the ambitions of the abhiyan in the district.
SDM HQ Mr Pulkit described the workshop as an opportunity for trainees to work toward community improvement. He stressed the need for successful convergence of the campaign and timely follow-up actions to reinforce effort. He encouraged trainees to consider change in their mindset to further support the goals of the Abhiyan and highlighted the importance of effective execution.
During the workshop, District Level Master Trainers(DLMT) interacted with trainees through activities that developed a framework for Aadi Karmayogis, who will promote the abhiyan at the village level for community upliftment.
The first day featured seven District Level Master Trainers and a total of twenty-five Block Level Master Trainers as trainees from Gyalshing and Hee-Martam Blocks of the district. The three-day orientation will conclude on September 12.
