PM Modi Unveils ₹150 Commemorative Coin and Stamp Honouring Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Ekta Nagar

Gujarat, October 30 (IPR):

To commemorate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) and the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi released a special ₹150 commemorative coin and a postage stamp in honour of the Iron Man of India at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, today.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for several development projects worth over ₹1,140 crore. These initiatives aim to enrich the visitor experience at Ekta Nagar, strengthen regional connectivity, foster sustainable and eco-friendly mobility, and promote tribal welfare and local employment. The projects are aligned with the Government’s vision of sustainable tourism and inclusive growth in and around the Statue of Unity — the world’s tallest statue.

The event was also graced by the presence of family members of Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
