Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, arrives in Sikkim on a four day official visit

Gangtok, October 15 (IPR): Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, Ms Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, arrived at Hotel Mayfair, Ranipool, today.

The Minister is on a four-day official visit to Sikkim from 15th to 18th October 2025, accompanied by Private Secretary (IRTS), Ms Jagriti Rohit Singla, Additional Private Secretary (GAS), Ms Khushbu Suthar and Personal Assistants to the Minister of State, Mr Chauhan Mahesh Gadabhai and Mr Rathod Prince Prakashbhai.

The visit aims to review the ongoing initiatives and progress under the Food and Public Distribution sector in Sikkim.

On her arrival, the Minister of State was warmly received by Additional Secretary, Food & Civil Supplies Department, Ms Diki Doma Bhutia, Additional Secretary, Public Distribution System, Food and & Civil Supplies Department, Ms Tenzin Yangchen Bhutia and senior officials of the Food & Civil Supplies Department, Government of Sikkim.
