Pakyong, August 15 (IPR):
The 79th Independence Day Celebration, at the district level, commenced with great zeal as Minister of Education, Sports & Youth Affairs, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Mr Raju Basnett, hoisted the National Flag, in the presence of District Collector, Pakyong Mr Rohan Agawane and Senior Superintendent of Police Pakyong, Ms Paru Ruchal, at the St Xavier's School ground today.
The ceremony featured the National Anthem and included a parade review, promoting a deep sense of patriotism among all attendees.
The Independence Day festivities will continue throughout the day, featuring a variety of events that symbolise the spirit of freedom and national pride.
