Gyalshing, June 21 (IPR): The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll in Gyalshing District has recorded significant progress, reflecting the dedicated efforts of Booth Level Officers (BLOs), election officials, and the active participation of electors across all four Assembly Constituencies.

As of latest report on the digitisation of Enumeration Forms (EFs), Gyalshing District has reached an encouraging milestone with Maneybong-Dentam Assembly Constituency achieving 100% digitisation progress, becoming the first constituency, both in district and the state level to complete the digitisation process.

Yangthang Assembly Constituency has also demonstrated remarkable progress with 93% digitization, while Yuksom–Tashiding and Gyalshing–Bermiok Assembly Constituencies have each achieved 89% digitisation.

These achievements have contributed substantially to the district’s overall progress in the ongoing revision exercise.

The impressive pace of digitization highlights the commitment and hard work of field-level election functionaries, particularly the BLOs, as well as the cooperation extended by electors in ensuring the timely submission and verification of Enumeration Forms.

DEO-cum-DC has been continuously monitoring and encouraging the BLOs by personally visiting them in their respective work stations.

Similarly, EROs, AEROs, Additional AEROs and Supervisors have extended full support to the BLOs on a daily basis in order to achieve 100% digitisation within the given deadline.

The District Election Officer appreciates the cooperation extended by electors, BLOs, Supervisors, and all stakeholders in ensuring the successful conduct of the Special Intensive Revision. Efforts are being intensified to complete the remaining digitisation and verification work within the stipulated timeline.
