Sikkim Delegation Participates in Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Celebration at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat

Gujarat, October 30 (IPR): A delegation from Sikkim is participating in the grand celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas being held on October 30 and 31 at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat. The national event commemorates the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, fondly remembered as the Iron Man of India and a leading architect of national integration. The celebration is being attended by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, who is inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for several major infrastructural and developmental projects at Ekta Nagar.

The Sikkim team comprised media personnel and social media influencers, led by the Nodal Officer-cum-District Information Officer of Information and Public Relations Department, Mrs Deeki D Bhutia. The team also includes Ms Sushma Pradhan and Mr Gompo Thendup Bhutia, Deputy Directors from the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department, along with officials and stakeholders representing the state.

The event provids an opportunity for cross-cultural interaction, exchange of ideas, and strengthens the collective resolve towards unity and integrity.
