Gyalshing, 21th June, 2019 (IPR): The ‘International Yoga Day’ was celebrated in a grand manner at the Badminton Court of Pelling Senior Secondary School, Pelling by the District Administration Center in collaboration with 72nd Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and National Service Scheme (NSS). The program was chaired by Shri. Karma R. Bonpo DC West along with Shri. Karma Lodey Lepcha, ADC West; Shri Om Prakash Singh, Commandment (72nd SSB) and other Officials of the District and 72nd SSB.
Shri Rajnis Kumar (72nd SSB) and Shri Suswapan Kundu (Deputy Commandent, 72nd SSB) were the main instructors for the program where huge participation from District Officials, NSS Volunteers, SSB Officials and public was seen.
Similarly, the International Yoga Day was observed at various places throughout the West District.
