Mangan, 18 Jun (IPR): Minister for Human Resource Development Department, Law & Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs and Land Revenue & Disaster Department, and Sport and Youth Affairs Department, Shri Kunga Nima Lepcha, chaired a coordination meeting with the District Magistrate, North, Shri Raj Yadav, IAS, Senior Superintendent of Police/N, Shri Kungzang Dorjee Shangderpa, (New) SP/N, Shri Sonam Gyatso Bhutia, Joint Director, HRDD/N, Smt Deelak Pradhan, and other officer of HRDD, Sports and LR&DM here at the chamber of the DM, North today.

Speaking at the meeting, Shri Lepcha stated that main objective of present government is to make an efficient administration where a right person shall hold the right post in a right place and decentralization of power.

Stating education and health care as one of the fundamental instruments for holistic development in State building, he urged the august house to implement the governmental scheme in a righteous way.

Further, he insisted that the punctuality and performance is key part of employees while discharging their duty. Talking on the importance of co-ordination between officers and staffs, he appealed all government employees to work in tandem with government’s policies and programme.

Talking with staffs of LR&DMD, the Minister urged them to work with punctuality and deliver their best performance as to take Sikkim into a greater height and make it a model state.

Further, he called on all employees to join hands to combat any unforeseen natural calamity.

Besides, he noted and appreciated the inputs placed forward by the officer such as to levy minimum tourist permit fee, maintenance of drainage system of Pentok, maintenance of Mangan School Ground and Gallery.

The Minister also gave patience hearing to the problem raise by the officers such as staff shortage, vehicle problem, etc.
