Gangtok, May 23: (IPR) Counting of votes for General Election 2019 commenced in the halls of Biraspati Parsai Senior Secondary School. The official counting process for all Constituencies under East District started wherein the postal ballots are being counted first and EVMs, respectively.
The Strong Room was opened at 7am by the Returning Officer in the presence of Central Observers and Political Parties. The Counting of Assembly Segment of Parliamentary Constituencies and Assembly Constituencies have begun in their respective Halls from 8am
