Police Observer for Sikkim meets South District Police Officers

Namchi, 04 Apr (IPR): Police Observer for Sikkim, Mr. Naveen Arora, presided over a meeting with all the District Police Officers of the District in the chamber of the Superintendent of Police (South), Mr. Manish Verma today.

The meeting had the attendance of two Expenditure Observers for South District, Mr. B. G. Krishnan and Mr. Inder Solanki, SP (South), Mr. Manish Verma, ASP (South), Mr. S.D. Shanderpa, alongside Sector Police Officers, Sub-Sector Police Officers and SHOs.

In the course of the meeting, Police Observer for Sikkim, Mr. Naveen Arora, addressed matters and issues pertaining to General election 2019 such as overall security, deployment of all available manpower under SP (South), telephone communication, transport communication and arms & ammunition.

Mr. Arora also issued clear directives about law and order to the police force for ensuring peace during the entire duration of Election process. He called upon the police officers to be well equipped to undertake any challenging circumstances that may arise if any, during the overall process of the General Elections 2019.

Moreover, Mr. Arora directed them to be extremely vigilant so as to facilitate peace and security throughout the district during the elections.
