November 22:(IPR) Minister-cum Area MLA of Salghari Zoom constituency Mr Arjun Kumar Ghatani handed over sanction order of financial assistance of Rs five Lakhs to the Managing Committee Sai Mandir at Daragaon, Jorethang, today. He also handed over sanctioned order of Rs. Two Lakhs each to eight different religious institutions, Wednesday evening. The financial assistance of Rs. 2 Lakh was sanctioned in the form of Grant-in-Aid to each centres located in his constituency. The proposals were submitted to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri Pawan Chamling during his 32 days Jana Samparka-Jana Samman Abhiyan.
Yesterday, the Minister began his visit to the interior parts of Upper Mabong and handed over sanction order to two IFBPCS Church followed by sanction order to Heavenly Path Organisation at Dokshing as well.
Thereafter Minister held a meeting with the followers of Believers Eastern Church, Buddhist Monastery, Bethel Church and Devithan Mandir at Lower Sigeng at their respective centres and handed over sanctioned order to the concerned Managing Committees.
Later, the Minister also handed over sanctioned order to Sri Satya Sai Mandir and MCPC church at Pipaley.
In eight different venues, Minister Shri Ghatani interacted with the followers and drew lights on the developmental activities of the state government and the vision and concern of the Chief Minister Shri Pawan Chamling to preserve and protect their diversified culture, communal harmony and unity in secular spectrum
