New Delhi, July 4 (IPR)
This morning, Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang met the International Archer and Padma Shri awardee Mr Tarundeep Rai, along with Coach Mr Sonam Tshering Bhutia.
Both will represent India in the Men’s Recurve Team event at the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024.
The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to Mr Rai, Coach Bhutia, and the entire six-member Indian archery contingent participating in the Olympics. “May you soar higher and continue making us proud,” he said, expressing his hope for their success in the global event.
Mr Tarundeep Rai expressed his happiness over the support and kind words from the Chief Minister. He mentioned that he is currently training in Pune and will be leaving for Paris in a few days.
