:Following the previous day’s report, District Magistrate Mr Anant Jain (IAS) continued his survey of disaster-affected areas in Naga to assess the damage and coordinate relief efforts.
Mr Jain was accompanied by ADC Dev. Mr Kashi Raj Limboo, ADC Dev. (Chungthang) Mr Mr H S Kaflay, SDM Chungthang Mr Kiran Thatal, BDO Chungthang Mr T R Chettri and other concerned district officials.
To understand the ground reality, Mr Jain met with local residents and the ward panchayat. He interacted with officials of line departments to discuss the assessment report and current status. Additionally, he spoke with GREF officials to gather information regarding road connectivity issues and updates.
The interactions covered public grievances and the prioritisation of road repairs. Mr Jain emphasised that ongoing efforts and field visits are critical in addressing the immediate needs of the disaster-affected areas and ensuring that rehabilitation and infrastructure restoration work progresses efficiently.
