The District Level Oversight Committee (DLOC) convened a meeting today at the conference hall of the District Administrative Centre, Rabdentse.The meeting was presided over by District Collector-cum-Chairman (DLOC), Mr. M. Bharani Kumaar, IAS, alongside Mr. J. Jayapandian, IPS, SP Gyalshing-cum-Member(DLOC), Mr. Kessang D. Bhutia, SDPO Gyalshing, Mr. Gopal Sharma, MEO (GNP), Mr. Priyanshu Kumar, DIO (NIC), and other officials.
The primary agenda of the meeting was to review the functioning of the CCTV cameras installed in Police Stations under the Gyalshing District and to address the challenges being reported. The committee discussed the necessity of shifting CCTV cameras from the old Police Station, Gyalshing to the new one, along with the additional requirements for CCTV cameras and a power backup system.
The chairman of the committee was apprised of these issues, and steps are being taken to ensure the seamless functioning of CCTV systems for enhanced security and surveillance in the district.
