World Environment Day 2024 observed at Soreng
District level World Enviornment Day 2024 under Soreng District was celebrated at Gumpa Dara in presence of Chief Guest Mr. Dhiraj Subedi, ADC Soreng. The program was attended by all HODs , officials, teachers , students of Singling Jr. High School and all officers and staffs of Forest Department Soreng.To mark the occasion, a total of 1500 sapling were planted with species such as Guras, Azelia, Cherry, Hydrangea. Similarly, the World Environment Day 2024, was celebrated in various ranges and blocks under Soreng Territorial Division, with a plantation drive in Sombarey Range, Rinchenpong Block and Nayabazar block.
