Mangan, May 28(IPR): A briefing session for counting of votes for General Elections 2024 was held today in the District Magistrate’s chamber, today.
District Election Officer and District Magistrate Mr. Hem Kumar Chettri chaired the meeting, briefing concerned officials and staff on the counting process. Expressing his hope for a successful conclusion of the election he urged all officials to give their best efforts.
Roles and responsibilities of all officials, timing and punctuality, transparency and efficiency in carry out the assigned duties, matters regarding crowd and traffic movement control were thoroughly discussed and analysed.
A trail run for the same has been scheduled for May 31st, for which all the concerned officials have been requested to be present.
The meeting had the presence of ADM Mangan- Mr Vishu Lama, SDM Mangan- Mr Pema Wangchen Namkarpa, SDM Dzongu-Mr Arun Chettri, BDO Dzongu-Mr Mani Kumar Rai and all Nodal Officers
