Soreng, May 4 (IPR): 2 Postal Ballots of Service Voters were received today at DAC Soreng.
Mrs Ranjani Pegha Nodal Officer/DPO (DDMA) received all the postal ballots which was handed over by the Soreng Post office official. The handover was witnessed by DAC officials and Election Agents representing various political parties.
As per the norms of ECI, all the Postal Ballots received were stored and sealed in the presence of Mr DR Bista SDM (HQ), DAC officials and Election Agents representing various Political Parties in the Strong room established at DAC Soreng. The entire process was videographed as per norms.
It may be mentioned that a total of 137 Postal Ballots have been received so far w.e.f. 16.04.2024 in r/o the 4 Assembly Constituencies under the district.
