Mangan, March 15 (IPR): Training session for Assistant Expenditure Observers, the Accounting Team and the Video Viewing Team of Mangan District in preparation for the upcoming General Election 2024 was held at the chamber of the District Collector Mangan, today.
During the session, Mr. Hem Kumar Chettri, the District Collector-cum-District Election Officer, emphasised the importance of maintaining accurate data records and urged everyone to cooperate closely with the Media Certification & Monitoring Committee (MCMC). He stressed on the necessity of staying updated with the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) once imposed and highlighted forthcoming guidelines to be shared in subsequent meetings.
Present at the training were Deputy Secretary (Election) Mr. Karma Sherpa, SDM Dzongu-cum-Returning Officer Mr. Arun Chettri, SDM Kabi-cum-Assistant Returning Officer Mr Prakash Rai ,Chief Accounts Officer Pay & Accounts Mangan-cum-Nodal Officer Mr. Karma Loday Bhutia, along with members of the Assistant Expenditure Observer Team, Accounting Team and Video Viewing Team.
