Soreng, March 11 (IPR): Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang inaugurated the Kirat Rai Sayachongmu Mangkhim at Parenngaon, Soreng, today. The Chief Minister was accompanied by Madam Krishna Rai, Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, Advisors, Chairpersons, PS to CM, Zilla Adhakshyas (Soreng,Gyalshing and Namchi), Zilla Upadakshya, DC Soreng, SP Soreng, HoDs, Officers, officials from various departments and public.
The Chief Minister and dignitaries offered their prayers and sought blessings at the Mangkhim, where the ceremonial puja was performed by the Mangpas (shamans).
The CM then interacted with the committee members at the Mangkhim.
Similarly, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly constructed Indian Pentecostal Church Sikkim (IPCS) at Parengaon, Mangalbaria, Soreng district.
The church committee members extended sincere appreciation to the Chief Minister and presented him a token of appreciation for his support in building the church. While interacting with the committee members, the Chief Minister assured to provide immediate financial assistance to make it a convenient location for all local people.
