Gyalshing, Sept 18: (IPR) Minister for PHE Deptt.Shri Bhim Hang Limboo graced the three day long closing ceremony of 41st National Arm Wrestling Championship as Chief guest at the auditorium of Gyalshing Girls Sr. Sec. School, Kyongsa,today.
A total of One Hundred and Fifty contenders from Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Sikkim and neighbouring country of Nepal participated in the three day long event.
The closing ceremony also had the presence of Padmashree Shri Pema Khandu Bhutia as Guest of Honour,Chairman PHE Shri Harinarayan subedi , PS Bhagawati, the President of Indian Arm Wrestling Association, Shri Satish Yadav the Working President of Indian Arm Wrestling Association, Shri Ganesh Kr. Subba the President of Sikkim Arm Wrestling Association, executive members,social workers, and others.
The event had beautiful cultural extravaganzas performed by nearby schools.
Further,the Arm Wrestling Association of Sikkim also felicitated Shri Phu Tshering Bhutia (V.President)and Shri Lendup Dorjee Bhutia(General Sec.) of AWAS for their exceptional social contributions.
