The closing ceremony of entrepreneurial skill development training

Pakyong, September 10th(IPR): The closing ceremony of entrepreneurial skill development training on decorative candle making took place at the hall of SICUN, Assam Lingzey, today. MLA Namcheybong and Advisor- Excise Department, Mr. Em Prasad Sharma was the chief guest for the event.
It may be mentioned that the event was sponsored by Oil India Limited and Numaligarh Refinery Ltd(NRL) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas(MOPNG) and was implemented in the State by SICUN.
Mr. Sharma congratulated the participants on the completion of the training. He suggested ideas to enhance their marketing and business strategies and discussed different schemes to provide financial assistance to the budding entrepreneurs. He further extended his gratitude towards the Master Trainer for her efforts and counselled the trainees to work with determination.
Earlier, Chairman SICUN, Mr. Tashi Ongden Lepcha applauded the participants for their hard-work and advised them to utilise their spare time engaged in newly acquired skill. He also suggested that platforms like National Cooperative Union of India(NCUI) Haat could be utilised to strengthen their businesses.
Additionally, CEO SICUN Mr. Phadung Bhutia underlined the importance of the training and spoke about the endless opportunities in the candle making industry.He further urged everyone to empower themselves in order to create a sustainable career through the training.
During the programme,trainees shared their experiences and showcased fourteen varieties of decorative candles.
Furthermore, Master Trainer, Mrs. Vani Devi commended the participants and motivated them to work diligently.
The event was also attended by by Chairman Excise Department, Mr. Ganza Bhutia, Chairman Cooperation Department , Mr. B. B Chettri, Vice Chairman SICUN, Mr. Hemant Kr. Dahal, Zilla Panchayats, Members of SICUN and MPSC and trainees.
