7/8/23: A meeting took place today at Sikkim Government College of Nursing, chaired by the Principal Director Health Services (PDHS) along with Principal Chief Consultant (PCC) cum Medical Superintendent (MS) STNM, Principal Chief Consultant (PCC) cum Additional Medical Superintendent AMS I & II/ STNM. Present at the meeting were also Officials from various wings of the department including State Tuberculosis Officer (STO)/ National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP), District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO)/ District Tuberculosis Centre (DTC) Gangtok, Principal Incharge Sikkim Government College of Nursing (SGCON), Joint Food Safety Commissioner, Joint Director/ Central Health Store Organisation (CHSO), Joint Director/ Nursing, Dy.Dir. Nursing, Dy.Dir. and H.E State Information, Education and Communication Bureau (SIECB), Asst. Professors, Tutors and Staff of SGCON.
The team also conducted an inspection of the Hostel, Mess and the college’s surroundings. Additionally, a group of officials had an interactive session with the students, including STO/NTEP, D.D/Nursing, and DD & HE/SIECB.
