Gangtok, 18th August (IPR) – In a resounding demonstration of dedication to India’s growth and national unity, the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan Sikkim enthusiastically participated in the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign.
Under the campaign of “Meri Maati Mera Desh” officers and staff of Raj Bhavan took the Panch Pran Pledge to make India a developed Nation by 2047, eliminate the mentality of Slavery, take pride in India’s rich heritage, uphold unity and solidarity, fulfill duties as a citizen and respect those who protect the nation.The pledge was administered by Secretary Raj Bhavan, Shri J D Bhutia.
Secretary Raj Bhavan, Shri J D Bhutia said, “Through the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaign, Raj Bhavan Sikkim pays tribute to the courageous armed forces dedicated to safeguarding our nation. Moreover, we, the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan Sikkim, consider it a privilege to be engaged in this campaign”.
