A Cultural Talent show as a part of the celebration of 125 years of Sikkim Police was held at the Mannan Kendra

Gangtok, 9th May 2022 ( IPR): A Cultural Talent show as a part of the celebration of 125 years of Sikkim Police was held at the Mannan Kendra, today.
Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang graced the event as the chief guest. Also present were Shri Kunga Nima, Minister Education Department, Shri Sonam Lama, Minister Rural Development, Gangtok, MLA Shri Y.T. Lepcha, Shri Jacob Khaling, Political Secretary to CM, Mayor (GMC) Shri Nell Bdr. Chettri, Deputy Mayor (GMC) Ms Tshering Palden Bhutia, DGP, Sikkim Police Shri A. Sudhakar Rao, Secretary to HCM Shri S.D. Dhakal, SDGP Law and Order Shri Akshay Sachdev, senior government functionaries, officials, and family members of the police force.
DIGP Special Branch Shri Praveen Gurung briefed about the various programmes and events that were being carried out from 27th November 2021 and many other events to be carried out till 27th November 2022.
The Cultural Talent Show was hosted by radio jockey Ms Priyanka Tamang and Additional S.P, Shri Rinzing Chopel. Various artists from Sikkim Police presented their talents in the Cultural Talent Show.
Earlier, Shri Prem Singh Tamang flagged off two Highway Patrol vehicles with a toll-free helpline number 112 and later laid the Foundation Stone of Sikkim Police Memorial in the presence of Shri Sudhakar Rao Director General of Police on the occasion of the Quasqui-centennial Year (127th Anniversary) of Sikkim Police.
