HCM inaugurated Sapta Kanya Kalika Devi Mandir at Upper Yangang

Namchi, 11th February (IPR): The Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Prem Singh Tamang inaugurated ‘Sapta Kanya Kalika Devi Mandir’ at Upper Yangang, today. He was accompanied by his spouse Smt. Krishna Kumari Rai, Hon’ble Minister Tourism and Civil Aviation Department Shri. B. S. Panth, Hon’ble Minister for Energy and Power and Labour Department Shri M.N. Sherpa, dignitaries and devotees at large.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister along with other dignitaries also visited the mandir and offered their prayers for the well-being of the state.
Chief Patron Puran committee cum Confidential Secretary Shri. Bikash Basnett presented the history of the mandir and spoke about the great religious significance that this mandir holds particularly in Yangang and its public. He also added that eleven days shri shri Shiva Maha Puran was also organized at the mandir focusing on spiritual matters. The puran hosted devotees far wide thereby bringing together individuals, families and communities in a peaceful manner.
Principal Chief Engineer, Tourism and Civil Aviation Department Shri. Prakash Chettri shared the technical report of the mandir wherein he informed that the total built-up area and other integrated spaces such as prayer hall, Walkaway, Office Area, courtyard, parking space and many more.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Prem Singh Tamang and his spouse Smt. Krishna Kumari Rai attended the concluding day of the auspicious shri shri Shiva Maha Puran. Moreover, they were also felicitated by the organizing committee of the puran for their relentless support in uplifting the state.
