Namchi, 3rd March (IPR): On, the third day of filing nominations no nominations were received for the Municipal Elections, 2021 to Namchi Municipal Council and Naya-Bazar Jorethang Nagar Panchayat.
The seat reservations for Namchi Municipal Council Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson are OBC- Central List and Unreserved- Women, respectively. Similarly, the seat reservation for Naya-Bazar Jorethang Nagar Panchayat, Municipal President and Municipal Vice President are OBC- State List and OBC, Central List- Women.
Candidates shall file their nomination papers in the prescribed format before the Municipal Returning Officer (South) Shri. M. Bharani Kumar between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The last day of filing the nominations is 8th March 2021, scrutiny will be done on 9th March 2021 and the date of withdrawal is on 11th March 2021.
