Gyalshing, 28th January (IPR): The two days long training and awareness program on Target Public Distribution System, TPDS, National Food Security Act, NFSA and Public Finance Management System, PFMS organized by The Office of The District Civil Supplies Officer, Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of Sikkim, Rabdentse, was held today at the Community Hall of Gyalshing, West Sikkim.
The training was presided over by Deputy Director cum DCSO/West, Shri. Arjun Rai, and was accompanied by Under Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies Department, Shri. Jasman Subba.
A total of fifty trainees had attended the training for the first day of the two days long training sessions, and likewise, it is informed that the second day would be comprised of field visits, which would have to be carried out by the trainees in their respective areas of posting, for them to reap real-time experiences at the field itself.
Later, a brief training on Data entry to trainees was also conducted to make them familiar with the various levels of form filling procedure in the updated version of the software which is used in the line of work procedure.
