Skill Development Training Program in Sikkim

The second phase of the Skill Development Training Program in Sikkim commenced today at ITI Namchi, South Sikkim. In the inaugural program, out of 30 participants, 27 of them attended the Program. The Program is organised by ITI Namchi in a befitting manner wherein Shri Shankar Bhaumik, GM, NHIDCL and Shri M.N. Bhutia, Principal ITI Namchi along with other NHIDCL Engineers and faculty of ITI had graced the occasion.
In the inaugural speech Principal, ITI Namchi discussed the necessity of the training and requested the trainees to be particular in the training for the self – sufficiency and to gain a maximum scope of the training. He also conveyed his thanks to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang, The Secretary and The Director of Skill Development for extending the Training Program in ITI Namchi.
Shri R.K Mishra, Officer-in-charge Training, CIDC elaborately pointed out the objectives of the Training Program.
Further, Shri Shankar Bhaumik, GM, NHIDCL in his speech categorically delivered the objectives and guidelines of the Skill Development Training Program. He expressed his gratitude towards MORTH, Govt. Of India and MD, NHIDCL for extending the second phase of the Skill Development Training Program in Sikkim. He also conveyed his gratitude to Secretary Skill Development, DC South, ED, NHIDCL and SDM(HQ) for providing necessary guidance and support for the aforesaid Program. At the conclusion, he congratulated the participants who have been selected for the training and also congratulated ITI, Namchi for their logistic support and cooperation.
