The Hon’ble Governor called a meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister at Raj Bhawan

Gangtok, November 27 (Raj Bhawan): The Hon’ble Governor Shri Ganga Prasad has called a meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Prem Singh Tamang at Raj Bhawan, today to take stock of preparation of the State in view of the surge of coronavirus cases all across the country.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary, Shri S. C. Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary, Raj Bhawan, Shri Bhagwan Shankar.
During the meeting, Hon’ble Governor has directed the State administration to be more cautious and vigilant as the cases are in a surge in the State like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi etc.
The Hon’ble Governor also stressed on the use of mask, social distancing, personal hygiene and avoid unnecessary movement to win the battle against Covid-19.
Meanwhile, the Hon’ble Chief Minister informed the Hon’ble Governor that the State is fully prepared to tackle coronavirus cases. He also assured that the State government has been working closely with the direction of Central government to fight against the pandemic.
