The Sikkim State Legal Services Authority observed Constitution Day

Gangtok, November 26th: The Sikkim State Legal Services Authority (SSLSA) on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India, observed Constitution Day, in the Conference Hall of SSLSA, Development Area, Gangtok, today.
The day was observed with the reading of the ‘Preamble’, to the Constitution of India, lead by Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai, Judge, High Court of Sikkim and Executive Chairperson, SSLSA, along with Member Secretary, Officers and Staff of SSLSA. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hon’ble Executive Chairperson got connected with the Office Bearers and Staff of SSLSA through virtual mode (Video Conferencing). Similarly, the 04 District Legal Services Authorities (D.L.S.A.s) (East Sikkim at Gangtok, West Sikkim at Gyalshing, North Sikkim at Mangan and South Sikkim at Namchi) and 09 Taluk Legal Services Committees (T.L.S.C.s) (East Sikkim at Gangtok, East Sikkim at Rangpo, West Sikkim at Gyalshing, West Sikkim at Soreng, North Sikkim at Mangan, North Sikkim at Chungthang, South Sikkim at Namchi, South Sikkim at Jorethang and South Sikkim at Yangyang) also observed the 71st Constitution Day at their Offices in their respective Districts/Sub-Divisions with the Chairpersons/Ex-Officio Chairpersons reading the ‘Preamble’, to the Constitution of India along with the Panel Advocates, Para-Legal Volunteers and staff.
