The Regional Bank Manager of SBI called on the Hon’ble Chief Minister

Gangtok, November 13: The Regional Bank Manager and the representatives of the State Bank of India called on the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang at Mintokgang, today.
During the call on, the representatives of SBI presented 5 Nos. of Ventilators and 20 Nos. of Oximeters as a token of support to the State Government’s Medical Team.
The SBI has been involved in the Government’s endeavours to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic and have actively assisted the State in various capacities. They also informed the Hon’ble Chief Minister about setting up one of their branches in Soreng, West Sikkim in the coming days.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister reiterated that the Health sector has been a priority, especially in the current scenario and expressed his gratitude for their noble deed. He added that this will be a step towards boosting the health facility in the State and assured that their contribution will be utilised in the best way possible.
The token was handed over to the Hon’ble Chief Minister in the presence of Hon’ble Ministers, Shri Kunga Nima Lepcha and Dr. M.K. Sharma, Principal Secretary(Health), DG cum Secretary Health, Secretary to the HCM and officials from the Health Department.
