Namchi, 21st October: Temi Namphing constituency also saw disbursement of allotment under Sikkim Garib Awas Yojna (SGAY), today. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Area MLA cum Hon’ble Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation Shri. B. S. Panth, BDO (Temi) Shri. Prem K. Subba, members of Zilla & gram panchayats, officials of RDD / CLC / BLC & all WLC members.
The Chief Guest spoke about SGAY which he said is an initiative of the Sikkim State Government to facilitate and augmentin providing the basic facilities for the poor.
In, today’s allotment 63 GCI sheets, 61 house up-gradation along with 248 number of cheques has been distributed to the beneficiaries belonging to 3 GPUs namely Temi / Tarku- Tanak & Ben Namprik GPUs under Temi-Namphing constituency.
It may be mentioned here that the remaining distribution program will continue tomorrow for the rest of the remaining GPUs.
