Gangtok, August 6: All active cases of COVID-19 in Chujachen COVID Care Centre(CCC) have been reported negative after two consecutive RTPCR tests in 24 hours.
Similarly, all active cases of COVID-19 in GREF Camp at Rongli have also tested negative earlier.
The last 4 people lodged in the Chujachen CCC were discharged today. A small farewell program was organized by the Sub-Divisional administration in presence of SDM Rongli Shri Samdup Bhutia, MO/IC Dr T.N. Sherpa, Panchayat, Police personnel, and support staff.
With this milestone, Rongli Sub-Division has achieved zero COVID-19 active cases as of today. All stakeholders including the public of Rongli Sub-Division are prepared towards maintaining this status in the future.
