Namchi, 3rd August (IPR): As per the guidelines issued by the Technical Committee, Health Department and the South District Authority TB Ward in District Hospital Namchi, Jorethang CHC and the three wards and two sections of District Hospital Namchi has been de-notified as containment zone. The three Wards were Emergency Ward, Medical Ward, Pediatric Ward and the two sections were X-Ray and the CT Section.
These contaminated places have been unsealed thoroughly sanitized and disinfected as per the norms before any operation begins. Present during the unsealing was ADC (South) Mr. Satyen K. Pradhan, CMO (South) Dr. D. C. Sharma and Hospital staff.
