Jorethang, 24th July (IPR): In wake of a sudden surge of COVID-19 cases, a daylong sanitisation drive conducted by a Jorethang based NGO ‘Great Mates’ in coordination with NJMC was carried out in various locations across Jorethang today.
The members of Great Mates in the company of MEO Smt. Rajani Pega and support from NJMC and other civil society members sanitised public places such as the ATMs, public playground, CHC premises, police stations, offices, taxi parking plaza and few residential complexes in Jorethang bazaar area.
The NGO has been successfully conducting such sanitisation drives and other social activities in South and West districts since the inception of their organization which focuses on promotive, preventive, and responsive social roles of youth towards the development of the society.
