The second last batch discharged from the quarantine centre IHCAE, Chemchey

Namchi, 21st June (IPR): The second last batch consisting of 22 people from South Sikkim, who had undergone their facility quarantine at IHCAE, Chemchey after completing their mandatory institutional quarantine period of 14 days was discharged, today.

The entire discharge process was overseen by the Incharge cum Chief Administrator, IHCAE Chemchey Col. D.N. Bhutia, Dr. Chewang Palmo Chingapa alongside the medical team and support staff of IHCAE. During, the discharge the returnees were properly checked by the medical team posted there and advised them to maintain strict home quarantine protocol for another 14 days in order to complete 28 days quarantine period.

It may be mentioned here that the last batch of returnees who are undergoing their facility quarantine at IHCAE, Chemchey will be released on 23rd, June.
