48 people of South & West District travelling from Bengaluru arrives at Melli screening centre

Melli, 22nd May (IPR): Of what may be termed as a happy homecoming for the stranded people, a total of 48 people from South and West District out the 753 travelling from Bengaluru arrived at Melli screening centre at 10 a.m in the morning.

A total of 3 buses carrying 16 passengers each including the drivers arrived at Melli Screening Centre. More of such buses with the remaining people from South and West District are expected to reach the screening centre in a few moments.

It may be pertinent to add here that these people have arrived in a special train that had been arranged to ferry the Sikkimese people from Bengaluru to NJP which arrived at 6:30 a.m at NJP railway station.
