Good News for Sikkim!!
It was informed during the State Task Force Meeting held today that AirIndia Cargo plane will carry a consignment from New Delhi to Bagdogra tomorrow. Indian Air Force will carry the consignment from Bagdogra to Gangtok by helicopter.
The consignment will comprise of 165 boxes (1978 kg approx) containing the following:
1. 5098 PPE kits.
2. 10000 N95 masks
3. 2.24 lac 3 ply masks
4. 300 disposable gowns.
5. 3000 VTM kits.
The remaining consignments will be received in subsequent days.
In another good news received from DG cum Secretary, Health, Government of Sikkim, all the 9 samples sent for the test (5 from Gyalshing and 4 from STNM) have been reported negative.
