Hon’ble MLA Smt. Sunita Gazmer has contributed Rupees One Lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief fund

 

Gangtok, 01 April: Hon’ble MLA Smt. Sunita Gazmer has contributed Rupees One Lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief fund in order to support the government’s effort to fight against the global crisis of COVID-19.

On behalf of the MLA, her husband Shri Raj Kumar Gazmer handed over the cheque to the Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri S D Dhakal at Tashiling Secretariat this afternoon.

Shri. Sanjay Mittal, Managing (Director of Denzong Albrew Pvt. Ltd (maker of Kingfisher beer) has contributed Rupees Five Lakhs in favour of Chief Minister’s Relief fund to fight against COVID-19.
This is in addition to Rupees three lakhs he made from his personal account.

Shri Sushil Das, a Charted Accountant from Gangtok has contributed Rupees One Lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief fund in order to support the government’s effort to fight against the global crisis of COVID-19

He handed over the cheque to the Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri S D Dhakal at Tashiling Secretariat today.

The Secretary thanked him on behalf of the government for his kind gesture and generosity.

Shri Kumar Subba, Text Book Officer (Langauge Section) Education Department Government of Sikkim has contributed his one month salary (Rs One Lakh) to the Chief Minister’s Relief fund in order to support government’s effort to fight against the global crisis of COVID-19.
He handed over the cheque to the Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri S D Dhakal at Tashiling Secretariat today.
The Secretary thanked Shri Kumar Subba on behalf of the government for his kind gesture and generosity.

Managing Director of State Trading Corporation of Sikkim, Shri Menla Ethenpa, and his family handed over a cheque of Rupees One Lakh to the Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri S.D. Dhakal, for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in the fond memory of their beloved late mother, Late Pasang Lhamu Ethenpa.

As the day marks the 49th death ceremony of Late Passang Lhamu Ethenpa, the Ethenpa family offered the contribution in order to support the State government in its fight against COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown that followed.

The Secretary thanked the Ethenpa family on behalf of the Government for the noble gesture.
