Mangan, 12 February: (IPR) A sensitization meeting for dissemination of Kishan Credit Card (KCC) Loan to all PM-KISAN beneficiaries was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate, North, Shri, Tenzing T. Kaleon here at DC’s conference hall, today.
The meeting attended amongst other by the Lead District Manager, State Bank of India, Shri Gopal Lama, Additional Director, Agriculture Department, Shri, B. D. Rai, Additional Director, Animal Husbandry, Shri, Karma Tenzing Zongtenpa, Deputy Director, Horticulture Department, Shri Rinzing Wangyal, Manager, NABARD, Shri, Avijeet Murmu and Staff Officer, SISCO, Shri, Bikash Gurung.
During the meeting, Shri Gopal Lama informed that a special drive has been initiated by the Government to facilitate universal access to concessional institutional credit for all PM-KISAN beneficiaries. All PM-KISAN beneficiaries will be facilitated for issue of KCC to the benefit of Concessional Institutional Credit.
Shri, Lama informed that all charges including the processing, documentation, inspection and ledger folio charges as well as other service charges for KCC loans upto 3 lakhs have been waived. All PM-KISAN beneficiaries have been auto approved for KCC and need to simply visit the nearest bank branch with a copy land document and detail of crop sown along with the filled up one page form for availing the benefit.
The benefit has now been extended to eligible Animal Husbandry and Fisheries farmers those farmers who are KCC holders. Further, the scheme includes SMS service to all PM-KISAN beneficiaries from PM-KISAN portal to visit the concerned bank branch for getting the KCC benefit.
DM, Shri Kaleon has directed to Agriculture and line department disseminate the same to all eligible farmers of the district so that the farmers may avail the opportunity and take advantage of KCC loan.
