Tumin Dhanbari, November 21 (IPR): Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Horticulture and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Shri Lok Nath Sharma visited Veterinary Stockman Centre running in a rented house at Tumin Dhanbari, this evening.
He took stock on the availability of medicine facilities, manpower and directed staff to avail veterinary services round the clock . He also directed them to report to the higher authority, immediately, in case of having any shortage in requirements.
Thereafter, he visited another Stockman Centre which was fallen into delapidated stage before its inauguration and directed departmental official to submit estimate report for repairing and necessary maintenance work so that the rented Stockman Centre can be shifted to its own infrastructure.
Later, the Agriculture Minister visited rented VLW centre at Tumin Dhanbari and took details of the Stock Register and minutely checked issue of facilities to the beneficiaries.
Further he encouraged VLW along with the field workers to submit authentic field based report and to be more proactive to increase productivity of the farmers in their interest. He also advised officials to find out required land for departmental infrastructure and submit estimate report for furtherance of action.
