Gangtok, 14 Sept (IPR): Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri P.S. Golay met Jagat Guru Anant Shri Krishnamani Maharaj at his residence in Lumsey and sought his divine blessings.
Acharya Shri Krishnamaniji Maharaj is the present Religious Head of Shri Krishna Pranami Sampradaya and hails from Nautanpuri Dham, Jamnagar, Gujurat. At present this Sampradaya has over 10 million followers and more than 800 temples and Centers spread all over the world with many innumerable followers of Pranami organisation in the State as well.
Jagat Guru Anant Shri Krishnamani Maharaj is on a two-daylong tour of Sikkim and will also halt at Shri Krishna Pranami Dham located at Bermiok, South Sikkim.
Jagat Guru congratulated the HCM for taking charge of the new government. He expressed his happiness and his thankfulness over the state government’s decision to construct Brindavan Dham at Daramdin.
Jagat Guru and the HCM also discussed about prospect of religious tourism in Sikkim and how it can be expanded further by embracing all religions of the state. Jagat Guru said that the land itself is blessed by divine presence of god and goddesses since ancient times and thus the state will always be blessed and secular.
The HCM reiterated the stand of the State government and said that the government is committed to give religious freedom to every citizen and all religious activities will be kept away from political pressure thereby strengthening the bond of brotherhood amongst all religions of the State.
He also assured all possible support to the Pranami sects of Sikkim and he praised the organisation for enlightening many people through the preaching of Pranami Dharma which widely teaches to keep oneself away from alcoholism , toxic food habits as well as need for spiritualism to human civilisation and secularism.
Jagat Guru was accompanied by Krishna Pranami Sewa Samiti, Nepal President Shri Shyam K.C., renowned dharma guru Rohit Raj Maharaj , Shyam Acharya and others.
